Jay-Z Unveils Lineup For Made In America Festival
April 10, 2013

Earlier this week, Jay-Z announced that his Made In America outdoor festival will return to Philadelphia for its second year over Labor Day weekend. Today at noon, as promised, Jay began to unveil the lineup via Spotify.

This year's big event features BeyonceNine Inch Nails, Phoenix, Wiz Khalifa, Queens Of The Stone Age, The Gaslight Anthem, Solange, Emeli Sandé, Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Imagine Dragons, Fitz+ the Tantrums, Public Enemy, Jesse Rose, Schoolboy Q, Walk The MoonRobert DeLong and EDM artists like Calvin Harris, Nero, Deadmau5, Empire Of The Sun and many more.

The Philly concert will take place on August 31 and September 1 on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Last year's event, headlined by Jay-Z and Pearl Jam, was filmed by director Ron Howard for a documentary about staging the festival.

"Last year Pearl Jam, Miike Snow, Gary Clarke Jr., Odd Future, Skrillex and Janelle Monáe killed," commented Jay-Z. "This year, we have Nine Inch Nails, Beyoncé, Empire of the Sun, Kendrick Lamar and deadmau5.  This festival is all about experiencing great music and performances as a family.  I can't wait to get back to Benjamin Franklin Parkway, see some stage diving, walk through the crowds, drink a little and rock out again."

"Once again, I am thrilled to announce that the Budweiser Made in America Festival has chosen Philadelphia as its home," said Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter. "Last year’s event, hosted on the historic and dynamic cultural corridor of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, was a huge success, significantly impacting our local economy.  The City of Philadelphia is excited to welcome back Jay-Z and Made in America."
