Quick Hits: Black Sabbath, Jimmy Eat World, Kelly Clarkson
April 11, 2013

Black Sabbath will appear in the season finale of CBS' CSI. Airing May 15, the episode will feature a Sabbath concert, with the rockers performing the single to their comeback album 13, titled "End Of The Beginning." "When we first heard that Black Sabbath was interested in premiering a song on CSI from their first studio album in 35 years, we were all really excited," CSI Executive Producer Don McGill said in a statement. "So many of us are longtime fans. And seeing as the album is titled 13 and this is the finale of CSI's Season 13, it seemed like the perfect match. We couldn't be more thrilled."The new record is due out June 11.

Jimmy Eat World
Jimmy Eat World has released their new single, "I Will Steal You Back," to radio. It is the first track from their upcoming album Damage, due out June 11 on RCA. The band has also announced their "Home State" tour of Arizona, playing five different cities in early May: Yuma, Flagstaff, Casa Grande, Wickeberg and Sierra Vista. Jimmy Eat World will head out on a world tour in support of Damage. Other dates already announced include San Diego on May 17, and four shows overseas in the UK and Europe in late June.

Kelly Clarkson revealed in an online chat this week that she is recording a Christmas album. Idolator reports that producer Greg Kurstin, who produced her hit single "Stronger," is involved in the project as well. Also, Ronnie Dunn of Country act Brooks & Dunn recently mentioned on Facebook that he is singing on Clarkson's Christmas album. In related news, Clarkson will appear on American Idol tonight to perform.
