April 29, 2013

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment has promoted veteran programmer Steve Stewart to Regional Programming Manager for the Wichita, KS; St. Louis and Springfield, MO markets, effective May 1. Stewart, who has been with the CCM+E-St. Louis team for more than two years, will report to Beth Davis, Market President/Regional Market Manager.

In his new position, Stewart will lead and manage the multi-media programming functions across the region to ensure that best practices are deployed in a consistent manner. He will build and develop high performing regional teams that will leverage Clear Channel’s brands and audience to enhance revenue.

"Steve’s experience, coupled with his desire for growth and success, creates a win-win for our region," said Davis. "He is a trusted resource within our cluster and I’m excited for our teams throughout the region to be able to work with him."

Stewart has spent time at Clear Channel's WPX/Springfield, MA and WKCI/New Haven, CT, as spent time on Regional Manager in markets including Grand Rapids, MI; Providence, RI; and Myrtle Beach. Over the past two years, he has served as PD for KSD (93.7 The Bull) and Midday Host on KLOU (Oldies 103.3) in St. Louis.

"I am extremely thankful to Clear Channel Media and Entertainment's senior leadership for this opportunity as well as for their support," said Stewart. "We truly have an amazing team and I look forward to continuing this success story."
