Muse

The music of Muse will be heavily featured in the upcoming movie World War Z, and the band will even play a live concert at the movie's London premiere on June 2. Muse is set to perform in St. James Park after the film screens in London's Leicester Square, and Paramount will film the concert and make the footage available at a later date. The filmmakers are using about 14 minutes of Muse music in the film, mostly the song "Isolated System," according to Billboard.com. The band's music also will be used in trailers. World War Z opens in theaters on June 21, and it stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos and James Badge Dale.

Kanye West will project his new song "New Slaves" on the sides of buildings around the globe again this weekend. An updated map of times and locations has been posted on West's website, www.kanyewest.com, where the song will appear.

Queens Of The Stone Age will play the next Live On Letterman webcast for CBS, on June 5 at 9 p.m. ET. The performance will stream on CBS.com, Radio.com and VEVO, among other sites. QOTSA's new album, ...Like Clockwork, is due out June 4. The band will also appear on the Late Show with David Letterman twice that week.

With Randy Jackson leaving the judges table on American Idol, and the future of judges Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Keith Urban still looking murky, the show is looking to bring back some familiar names for next season. According to TheWrap.com, former contestant Jennifer Hudson is negotiating a deal to join Idol as a Season 13 judge. "She got the offer and her reps are currently negotiating with [the show's production company] Fremantle," a source told TheWrap of the process, which could take as long as six months to complete. It is also rumored that Kelly Clarkson is considering an offer to be a judge on the show that made her a star.

Eminem is headlining Belgium's Pukkelpop Festival in mid-August, and he just announced that right after that he'll do three more shows in Europe: August 17 at Slane Castle in Ireland; August 20 at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow, Scotland; and August 22 at Stade de France, France. Special guests on those shows will include Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, the Creator, Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse.
