Active Rock WAAF/Boston announces the appointment of Andrew Kaiser to Imaging Director, effective Monday, August 5. Kaiser previously spent time at Modern Rock Radio 104/Hartford, where he served as both Creative Services Director as well as morning drive and evening host.

Judy McGrath has brought aboard fellow ex-MTV executive Nick Shore as part of her Sony Music joint venture, Astronauts Wanted: No Experience Necessary. Shore served as SVP of Strategic Insights and Research at MTV under McGrath and has been named Chief Creative Strategist for Astronauts Wanted, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Viacom's legal fight with Rock Band developer Harmonix is back in the news, as a court ruled this week that Viacom owes over $300 million to Harmonix, according to The Hollywood Reporter. A Delaware Supreme Court made the ruling, agreeing with a previous decision, which Viacom has been battling since December of 2011.
