Quick Hits: Pearl Jam, Paramore, Green Day, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Dirty Heads
August 23, 2013

Pearl Jam has released a new music video for their single "Mind Your Manners," off the forthcoming album Lightning Bolt, due out October 15 on Monkeywrench/Republic Records. The video was directed by Danny Clinch and is a rare entry into Pearl Jam's sparse video catalog. The band will be commencing a two-leg tour of 25 dates throughout North America this fall, starting in Pittsburgh on October 11 and concluding in New Orleans while headlining at the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience during the weekend of November 1. The second leg of their tour starts off in Dallas November 15 and finishes off in Seattle on December 6. See the full dates on their website.

Paramore is the latest band to launch their own, branded cruise. They will set sail from March 7-11, 2014 from Miami to the Caribbean. Tegan and Sara are the first special guests to be announced as part of the trip, dubbed "PARAHOY!" More information can be found at Parahoy.com. Paramore kick off their fall headlining tour of North America on October 15 in Seattle.

The documentary on Green Day's American Idiot Broadway show will be shown in theaters, starting October 18. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will first screen in New York City on October 11, before a wider release. Titled Broadway Idiot, the movie will also be available via video On Demand services.

Rapper Pusha T has set a new release date for his upcoming solo debut. My Name Is My Name is now set for an October 8 release, after multiple delays.

2 Chainz and ten other men were arrested Thursday morning in Oklahoma City, after they refused a police search of their tour bus. The rapper's bus was originally pulled over for broken taillights, according to reports, and police then requested to search the bus for drugs, but were denied, which lead to a nine-hour standoff. The bus was towed and a warrant was later filed to search the bus, while the occupants were arrested due to the standoff.

The Dirty Heads will release their first acoustic album, Home - Phantoms Of Summer: The Acoustic Sessions, on October 29 via Five Seven Music. The band will be on tour, starting October 18 in Los Angeles.
