It looks like Eminem is about to return to the Hip-Hop scene with a new album. Em's website states that "MMLP2" (presumably Marshall Mathers LP 2) is coming on November 5, and the new single "Berzerk" is dropping on Tuesday. A Beats By Dre headphones commercial also announced the new effort during the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, and the ad states that Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin are executive producers of the new opus. Check out the commercial below:
American Idol may be close to scoring famed hit producer Dr. Luke as its newest judge, according to a report from Deadline.com. Dr. Luke is expected to join the panel that also includes Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez. Meanwhile, Randy Jackson continues talks to return to the show as in-house mentor, replacing Jimmy Iovine.
Girl group Danity Kane is primed for a reunion. Four of the five original members announced at the MTV VMAs that they will be recording new music together: Dawn Richard, Aubrey O'Day, Aundrea Fimbres and Shannon Bex. "I think we really missed doing music together," Fimbres told Billboard on the VMA red carpet. New music from Danity Kane is "coming real soon," Richard added. "[There's] an album's worth of new music. We're working with the amazing Stereotypes, who as you know they've done Damage. We have a new record called, Rage. it's a better sound for us. It's a live sound. Danity Kane with live guitar, live drums [and] more of a rock vibe. People will be pleasantly surprised at how we're coming."
