Sam Morton is appointed Director of Sales, CBS Radio-St. Louis, which operates three stations in the market: News/Talk KMOX-AM, AC KEZK-FM and Hot AC KYKY. Morton, who will start on October 14, previously served as GSM for CBS Radio-Dallasí Sports KRLD-FM, Adult Hits KJKK-FM and Classic Hits KLUV-FM.

Townsquare Media reorganizes some of its management team, as SVP of Sales Bob McCuin will now oversee sales for radio, digital and live events. EVP Bill Wilson becomes Chief Content & Digital Officer.
According to multiple reports, digital music service Rhapsody has made multiple cutbacks, as company President Jon Irwin exits. Rhapsody has let go of 30 employees, or roughly 15 percent of its staffers. The Verge reports that Irwin will remain in an advisory role though. Rhapsody CFO Adi Dehejia also exits, replaced by former Starbucks executive Ethan Rudin. Additionally, investment firm Columbus Nova, which also owns Rock Band maker Harmonix, has acquired a stake in Rhapsody and sources tell The Verge that its representatives are now running the music service.
Blessings in a Backpack, a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that elementary school children who may otherwise go without meals are fed over the weekends, announces the results of a partnership with CBS Radio that will feed over 700 students in 12 communities across the country during the 2013-2014 school year. CBS stations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston and Philadelphia, among others, are participating in the program.
