Katy Perry has been deemed the new "Cover Girl," as the singer has partnered with the cosmetics brand and will do her first cosmetics campaign in the spring of 2014. "In addition to music, I've always considered makeup to be a powerful creative avenue of self-expression," said Perry in a statement. "I'm honored to partner with Covergirl and share more colors and textures of my approach to beauty to inspire my audience." Perry's new album, Prism, drops on October 22.
Miley Cyrus is returning to the MTV stage, albeit this time in Amsterdam. The singer will perform at the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards on November 10. She joins previously announced performers Katy Perry and The Killers. JustinTimberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead the MTV EMA nominations with five nods each, while Cyrus, Robin Thicke, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber have four nominations each.
Prince is opening the gates of his home/studio, Paisley Park, for a late night party on October 19. A flyer for the event, dubbed The Breakfast Experience Pajama Dance Party, says doors will open at 2 a.m. on Saturday night. Prince will perform alongside his new band 3rdEyeGirl, and they will "party till the sun comes up," according to the flyer. The concert is open to the public for a donation of $50.
