Former New York and Philadelphia radio host Dave Herman was arrested Thursday after attempting to arrange a sexual encounter with an underage girl in the Virgin Islands. According to multiple reports, Herman was the victim of a Homeland Security sting operation, after having been in contact with a woman online for almost a year attempting to broker the meeting. The woman in question was actually a government operative. The 77 year-old Herman was an influential Rock DJ in the '60s and '70s, and spent time at WNEW/New York, as well as WMMR/Philadelphia.
Twitter announced the price range for its impending IPO will be between $17-20/share, as the company hopes to raise $1.4 billion. According to the Los Angeles Times, Twitter plans to officially price its IPO on November 6 and start trading the next day.
