While in town for a Yeezus tour stop, Kanye West took over KPWR (Power 106)/Los Angeles and Big Boy's Neighborhood on Monday, October 28 for over two hours! Yeezy was in a chatty mood as he talked about everything from music to fashion to his wedding plans and names that he and Kim Kardashian considered for their daughter.
When asked about songs that he decides not to include on his albums, the rapper explained that "like five songs didn't make it on Yeezus that we might put out before the end of this year." He continued, "For people that didn't like Yeezus when it first came out: it's a simple thing that I could've done to make them like it more that I chose not to do. I could've put 'Blood On The Leaves' at the beginning of the album, which is what I always do. It's like 'Good Morning' at the beginning. 'Say You Will.' 'Dark Fantasy.' It's a certain type of melody that I usually have."
On a more personal note, West said that it took so long for him to propose to Kardashian because he "had to get the ring right," and when asked about his ideas for the wedding, he responded simply with two words: "fighter jets." He also said they will likely get married "next summer."
West also performed parts of "Otis" and "Good Life" while on the air with Big Boy, and the two verbally volleyed with a nearly eight-minute freestyle back and forth.
