Kristin The Island Girl joins Rhythmic AC KHTP (The New HOT 103.7)/Seattle for middays, starting December 16. Kristin is a 14-year veteran of the Seattle market. "I couldn’t be more excited to join the hottest radio station in Seattle. LOVE the fact that I get to not only be back on the radio in the city I love, but I also get to play all of my favorite music, including all of the old school throwback songs that I know word-for-word! Big thanks to Dave Richards and Mike Preston for bringing me on board to be a part of the HOT 103.7 team!," said Kristin.

Lance Ballance exits the programming seat at Sports WFWN/Ft. Myers. Producer Joe Lopez assumes Ballance's duties at the station.

Chris Sargent, VP/Programming for CCM+E/Portland, has exited.

Kris Ahrend is elevated to SVP/Recorded Music Rights Administration at Warner Music Group.

Wind-up Records’ Northeast Regional promo wiz Ed Brennan has been promoted to Alternative National/West Coast Regional Director of Promotion. He will relocate to Los Angeles in the new year. On his promotion Brennan said, “I’ve been fortunate to have amazing mentors over the years which include Ed Vetri, Alan Galbraith and most importantly, Drew Hauser. I am beyond flattered and humbled by this amazing opportunity and would like to thank them for bestowing their confidence in me. Without you guys and girls, this would not be possible….THANK YOU!” Brennan joined Wind-up in March 2007 as Mid-Atlantic Regional, a territory which expanded to include the Northeast in Jan 2011. Frank Vulpi joins United Stations Radio Networks (USRN) as VP/GM of Content Affiliations. EVP Charlie Colombo commented, "Frank’s wealth of experience on both the station and the network side of the business is an incredible asset for our company as we march into 2014.  He understands the needs of our clients, he knows the new platforms and he knows how to develop and maintain those essential relationships with our affiliates at radio stations.  He’s joining an already successful team, and we’re extremely excited about his new role at USRN."

Pandora has announced that the company will be bringing its Discovery Den event from Austin at SXSW to New York for the first time this holiday season. Pandora will host the Holiday Discovery Den at The Grand Ballroom in New York City this Saturday, December 7, with performances by Pretty Lights, Chromeo (DJ Set) and Tegan and Sara. "Nothing brings out the holiday spirit more than great music and New York City," said Tommy Page, Pandora’s Head of Music Partnerships. "By bringing the Pandora Holiday Discovery Den to the tri-state area, we’re helping connect a group of incredible artists directly with the fans who love their music most."

Kia announced at the 2013 LA Auto Show that the all-new 2015 K900 luxury sedan will come with HD Radio Technology as a standard feature. The K900 will join the recently launched Cadenza, which also offers HD Radio Technology standard, along with the Optima, Soul, Sportage, Sorento, and Forte as the other Kia vehicles to currently offer HD Radio. The 2015 Kia K900 is expected to arrive at dealers during the first quarter of 2014.
