December 4, 2013 reports that Kris Kelley has exited the PD post at CHR WKSC and Urban WGCI/Chicago. As a result, CCM+E-Chicago VP of Programming Tommy Austin will program WKSC and Director of Urban Programming Derrick Brown will handle WGCI until Kelley's replacement is found.
At Urban AC WBAV/Charlotte, Artie in the Afternoon welcomes Fly Ty for co-host duties. The show is now known as Artie in the Afternoon with Fly Ty.

Chris Jackson retuns to the Bay Area to host mornings at Classic Rock KFOX (98.5/102.1)/San Francisco, starting December 10. Meanwhile, morning host Annalisa exits.

David Giambruno is appointed SVP and Chief Information Officer at Tribune Company.

The anticipated Beats Music service will officially launch next month, CEO Ian Rogers announced in a blog post today. Starting today, is letting people reserve their user names for the site in advance of the launch. You can read Rogers' full blog here.
KYSR/Los Angeles morning talent Lisa "Kennedy" Montgomery will also be hosting a new weeknight show for the Fox Business Network, reports Variety. The Independents is slated to debut on December 9 at 9 p.m. and airs Monday through Wednesday and also on Fridays.

Twentieth Television has renewed the syndicated Dish Nation show for a 52-week run on Fox stations. The half-hour program features highlights from morning radio shows around the country.

Sun Broadcast Group announces a deal with Jelli for use of its cloud-based ad platform.

Music Choice has created its "MC 100" list of songs for 2013 and will count them down live, starting December 10, every Tuesday and Sunday from 6pm – Midnight ET/PT on Music Choice’s Hit List Music Channel. Additionally, the Top 25 music videos will be available to view on Music Choice On Demand starting December 9.
