Candy & Potter To Host Mornings At KHTP (The New HOT 103.7)/Seattle
December 4, 2013

Entercom-Seattle announces that Candy & Potter will join Rhythmic AC KHTP (The New HOT 103.7) for mornings. The announcement is a homecoming for the pair, as both Candy and Potter were raised in the Seattle area and began their radio careers there. Their first day on-air will be January 22, 2014.

Candy & Potter come to The New HOT 103.7 fresh from ratings success in Madison, WI, and previously worked in Charlotte, NC and Albany, NY after launching their radio journey at 106.1 KISS FM in Seattle under current HOT 103.7 PD Mike Preston.

"Candy & Potter are spot-on for HOT103.7’s audience. Pop culture sensibilities combined with a passion for their hometown and a love of the music makes this show highly topical and interactive," said Preston. "Starting on January 22nd, listeners will wake up to Candy & Potter’s relentless pursuit of the most interesting and funny topics of the day with a show that’s little bit like Facebook on radio."

Candy remarked, "I would like to take this opportunity to publicly call out Preston who pretty much stole my phone and jacked my playlist for HOT. I cannot wait to start waking up Seattle in January."

Potter added, "The day HOT 103.7 signed on, it immediately became one of my favorite stations in America. The fact that I get to work there AND it's in my hometown is surreal. I can't wait to get started!"

On Tuesday, Kristin The Island Girl was announced as The New HOT 103.7's midday host. Her first day on the job will be December 16.
