Shawneen Thompson is named VP/GM for Radio One's Philadelphia station cluster. Thompson most recently served in a similar capacity with the company in St. Louis.
Alan Leinwand, Radio One-Washington cluster Director of Sales, rises to to the VP/GM post.

The John Tesh Radio Show is now heard on AC WRRM/Cincinnati during weeknights (7-midnight) and Sundays (6-11 p.m.). Additionally, TeshMediaís sister program, Intelligence For Your Health with Connie Sellecca will also be joining the line-up.

Cleveland Scene Weekly reports that Modern Rock WLFM-LP (87.7 Cleveland's Sound)/Cleveland has been sold to new owners, and will flip formats to Spanish language programming as of January 1, 2014. The station has confirmed the report on its Facebook page.

According to The Desert Sun, Active Rock KCLB/Palm Springs morning team Casey Dolan and Kristen Kelley have exited.

John Platt is promoted to President/North America at Warner Chappell Music. Platt who previously was President/Creative, North America, take on a newly expanded leadership role, overseeing teams across the company's offices in New York, Nashville, Miami, Toronto and Los Angeles.

Rep. Mel Watt (D-NC), a co-sponsor of the Performance Royalty bill, has been confirmed as the new Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency. With his new position, there is speculation as to how much attention Watt will give to the proposed royalty legislation in the House.

FOX Sports Radio Network announces the launch of Jay Mohr Sports, a live digital station on iHeartRadio. The dedicated iHeartRadio station will make the daily Sports program hosted by the actor and comedian available to fans 24/7. The channel features sports talk and entertainment, in addition to conversations with top athletes and celebrities. Mohr stated, "This channel is about the fans and giving them 24/7 access to the show wherever they are. Iím so happy to be able to share this with listeners in celebration of the upcoming one-year anniversary of Jay Mohr Sports!Ē

Brainerd Communicators announces the addition of Kim Myers as Senior Director. An original member of Brainerdís PR team, Myers now heads the firmís D.C. Metro-Area presence. Myers was previously Senior Manager of Media Relations at Nielsen Audio and exited last month amid the cutbacks following the acquisition of Arbitron.
