American General Media names veteran programmer and personality Picazzo Stevens as PD for CHR/Rhythmmic KAGM-FM and Modern Rock KARS-AM/K75AO) (Power 106.7/Albuquerque and AREA 102.9/Albuquerque, respectively), effective immediately. Above and beyond is PD duties, Stevens will also serve on air during afternoon drive on KAGM weekdays.

Atlantic Records announces that acclaimed hip-hop artist DJ Drama has joined the company’s A&R staff. In addition to his day-to-day A&R duties, including the discovery of new artists and overseeing recording projects, he will contribute to the artist development process for existing talent on the Atlantic roster. Based in Atlanta, Drama was named “DJ Of The Year” at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards.
SiriusXM reported 1.66 million net subscriber additions in 2013 closing out the year with 25.56 million subscribers. Self-pay net additions in 2013 were 1.5 million for the full year, bringing self-pay subscriptions to over 21 million.
Veteran network radio research exec Len Klatt will join Compass Media as a research consultant and advisory. Klatt previously spent 16 years with Premiere Networks and 11 years at Westwood One.
