Jacobs Media will make social media strategist Lori Lewis available to Country radio stations advised by consultants Albright & O'Malley & Brenner. Lewis will provide services in markets that aren't competitive with Jacobs Media clients.
     "Partnerships are happening throughout the radio industry, and this one makes great sense. Lori Lewis is the face of social media in radio, and will bring great value to A&O&B's clients," Jacobs Media President Fred Jacobs remarks. "We are big fans of Jaye (Albright), Mike (O'Malley), and Becky (Brenner) and this is a great fit for both of our companies and clients."

Hot AC KDMX-FM/Dallas announces that the syndicated The Bert Show will join the station for mornings, airing weekdays from 5-9:00 a.m. C.T.  The Bert Show, which launches on KDMX on Tuesday, January 21, features host Bert Weiss, co-hosts Jeff Dauler, Kristin Klingshirn and a variety of additional on air characters. 

Morning host Kidd O'Shea signs a new deal that will keep him at Hot AC WMYX/Milwaukee until 2018.

Jackie Van Zandt joins CHR KQDR/Sherman for middays, effective 1/27. JVZ will also handle the 12-4 p.m. shift on Saturdays.

At Entravision Communications, Jose Villafane rises to the EVP post at Entravision Solutions and Entravision Radio Networks. Villafane most recently served as SVP/National Sales.

Jessica "Mo" Hiromoto makes the move from RCA Promotions Assistant to Los Angeles Regional Promotion rep for Atlantic Records. She'll be based in the Burbank offices and begins her new gig on 1/20.

Patrick L. Donnelly, EVP/General Counsel/Secretary at SiriusXM Radio Inc., renews his contract that will keep him with the satcaster through January 14, 2017.

The line-up continues to grow for SiriusXM Radio's Howard Stern Birthday Bash with the addition John Fogerty and Jon Bon Jovi to the list performers appearing on the show on January 31 in New York. Jimmy Kimmel will serve as host for Stern's 60th birthday bash that will also feature Steven Tyler, David Letterman and Louis C.K.

At Classic Rock WRVQ-HD2/Richmond, The John Boy & Billy Show joins the on-air line-up. Additionally. Mojo Rupp comes on board for afternoons.

Derek Simon is named President of Blaster Records. Simon rises from the SVP/Marketing and Artist Development post.

Haim Saban, Chairman of Univision Communications Inc., founder of Saban Capital Group and the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution, will headline the NAB Show Opening on Monday, April 7 in Las Vegas. The question-and-answer session, led by NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith, will take place  following Smith’s “State of the Broadcast Industry” address.
