Country WQDR/Raleigh PD Lisa McKay is promoted to VP/Programming for Curtis Media Group's Raleigh-Durham cluster. McKay will have oversight of WQDR, Adult Hits WBBB, CHR WPLW/WWPL, Urban AC WBZJ and Spanish WYMY.

Promotions Director/afternoon host Joey Tack is awarded PD stripes at CHR/Rhythmic WKHT/Knoxville.

At Alternative KPNT/St. Louis, with last week's announcement that Woody and Ravey of the Woody and Rizz Morning Show have accepted a position with Alternative KYSR-FM/Los Angeles to form a new morning show there, former co-host Scott Rizzuto has accepted the position as the new morning show host at KPNT beginning April 1 with Tony Patrico as co-host and producer. 

After a 29 year run at Classic Hits WMJI/Cleveland, morning host John Lanigan is retiring, reports the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Lanigan will exit following the station's annual Moondog Coronation Ball on March 29.

Andrew Polsky is named VP of National Digital Marketing Solutions at Entravision Communications Corporation. Polsky was formerly VP, DIgital Media at Spanish Brodacasting System.

Non-commercial WYMS (88Nine RadioMilwaukee)/Milwaukee announces the hiring of Linda Daley as its first CFO/COO and Peter Adams as its first Marketing & Promotions Manager. Daley comes to RadioMilwaukee after serving the last five years as SVP/CFO at the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee and five years previously as the Milwaukee Art Museum CFO. Adams has been assistant director of the East Town Association, a Downtown Milwaukee business group, since 2011, where his duties included booking all music for Jazz in the Park, the East Town Market and the Milwaukee Firkin Craft Beer Festival; membership recruitment and retention; and planning and organizing all Coffee Connections events.

Classic Rock WBIG/Washington has been named the official Washington, D.C. broadcast home of the NFL's Baltimore Ravens.

FMQB offers condolences to the family and friends of well known TV and Radio station owner and former NAB Radio Board Chairman Russ Withers who died Friday night (1/24) at his home after a prolonged illness.
