Beasley Broadcast Philadelphia names Rick Vaughn as Program Director of Rhythmic CHR WRDW (Wired 96.5)/Philadelphia. Vaughn’s first day in the Wired 96.5 studios will be February 18th and he will report to Vice President and Market Manager Natalie Conner.

With over 20 years of experience in radio broadcasting, Rick comes to Wired 96.5 from Atlanta, where he served as Program Director of WWPW and WRDA. Prior to Atlanta he enjoyed successful stops at WKSC/Chicago, WKSS/Hartford and KHTS/San Diego. Notably, Rick also served as Program Director of WIOQ in Philadelphia from 2006 – 2008; this new opportunity at Wired 96.5 represents a move back to a city he knows well and loves.

Rick’s illustrious and colorful career also includes serving as a CHR Regional Brand Manager, Morning Show Coach and participation as a speaker and panelist at many talent development workshops. Previous programming positions include KGGI/Riverside, KKFR/Phoenix and KZZU/Spokane. His interest in radio began at KZFN/Moscow, Idaho while attending, then graduating from, Washington State University.

Vice President of Programming Justin Chase comments, “We are thrilled to welcome Rick to the Beasley family!  By adding Rick’s track record of excellence to the top notch talent we have in Philadelphia, Wired 96.5 is poised to have a banner year.”

“Under the new leadership of Rick Vaughn,” adds Vice President and Market Manager Natalie Conner, “Wired 96.5’s successful 10-year track record will not miss a beat…we will continue to super-serve Adults 18 to 49 in our Delaware Valley community.  Welcome home, Rick!”

Wired 96.5 is an outstanding radio station with a rock-solid brand,” says Rick Vaughn. “I am honored to lead our talented, local team onto the next battleground.  Thank you, Bruce and the Beasley family, Natalie Conner and Justin Chase for this amazing opportunity to win in Philadelphia and return to the city my family calls ‘home’.”
