Imagine Dragons took the stage on Wednesday for Amnesty' International "Bring Human Rights Home" Concert. The concert was held in Brooklyn, NY to raise awareness about human rights issues such as torture, the death penalty, and the suffering of political prisoners.
“It’s a cause I feel like anyone can get behind,” Lead singer, Dan Reynolds told MTV.com. "It’s really about raising awareness about human rights.”
The band played along other artists including The Fray, Tegan and Sara, Blondie, Lauryn Hill, Colbie Caillat, and more. Madonna lended her support as she took the stage to introduce formerly imprisoned Pussy Riot members Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina. This was Amnesty International's first concert in 16 years.
