Wiz Khalifa will give fans an exclusive first listen to his new single, "We Dem Boyz," today at 4 p.m. EST. Fans should head to Wiz's YouTube page and Shazam the teaser video for "We Dem Boyz," allowing them to unlock the song, which will become instantly available at 4 p.m. "We Dem Boyz" will then be available at all digital retailers on Tuesday, February 11. The track is the first single from Wiz's third studio album, Blacc Hollywood, which is due out later this year.
Rick Ross has revealed the tracklist for his news album, Mastermind, which is set for a March 4 release. It looks like the set will feature a number of guest stars, including Jay Z, Jeezy, Kanye West, Big Sean, Lil Wayne and Meek Mill. The album includes production from K.E. on the Track, Mike WiLL Made It, West and others. Diddy acts as co-executive producer with Ross.
After U2 serves as the first musical guest for Jimmy Fallon's run as host of The Tonight Show, which starts on February 17, the show has announced a slew of other big names for Fallon's first week. Lady Gaga will perform on Tuesday, Feb. 18; Tim McGraw drops by on Wednesday, Feb. 19; Arcade Fire will be there on Thursday, Feb. 20; and Justin Timberlake tops off the week on Friday, Feb. 21.
Against Me! has revealed dates for a spring headlining tour. The band will begin its North American run on March 9 in Omaha, NE and will take in 21 dates through April 6 in Asheville, NC. Support on the entire run will be provided by Laura Stevenson and Cheap Girls.
In a fan-recorded video of Lana Del Rey signing autographs, the singer talks a little bit about her upcoming album, Ultraviolence. In the video, Del Rey claims that Ultraviolence "is so good" that it made her forget about her last record, 2012's Born to Die and subsequent Paradise EP. One fan asked Del Rey when her new album will be released, and she replied: "It's coming out soon. May 1." However, the date has not been officially confirmed by her record label.
Fox has canceled the American version of The X Factor, according to Reuters, and now creator Simon Cowell will be returning to the U.K. version of the singing competition show. "I've had a fantastic time over the last 12 years, both on The X Factor and American Idol," Cowell said in a statement. "And apart from being lucky enough to find some amazing talent on the shows, I have always had an incredible welcome from the American public (most of the time!)"
The Doors' Robby Krieger is organizing a memorial concert for late keyboard player Ray Manzarek, who died last year. Krieger told The Hollywood Reporter that Manzarek's family and brothers will be present, along with The Doors' John Densmore. "We want to bring together those who Ray either idolized or guys who idolized Ray, maybe at the Greek or The Hollywood Bowl for a big concert this summer," he told THR. "We've teamed up with Live Nation and they are helping us get it all together. We just want it to be the best it can be." In other news, Krieger said he has been in the studio with Johnny Depp working on Alice Cooper's album of cover songs. "I've recently played guitar on the forthcoming Alice Cooper-Johnny Depp recording project, which is a tribute to their 'dead friends'," he added.
