Hot AC WPLJ/New York PM drive host Race Taylor and Cumulus Media have agreed on new long-term contract. Under the new deal, Taylor continues to host exclusive concert events for the station and the company’s National Hot AC format during PM drive. 
         Taylor comments, “It has been an amazing 14 years here in New York on WPLJ. Thanks to John Dickey and my PD John Foxx, I’m looking forward to doing this show for many more years to come.” 
"Race and WPLJ are synonymous with great radio,” says John Dickey. “We’re very proud of his success and we believe in his talent and ability to keep the momentum going.”

NRG Media LLC announces that veteran broadcaster Dallas Nau is named Market Manager of its Tri-Cities, NE  five-station group of KQKY-FM, KRNY-FM, KROR-FM, KSYZ-FM and KGFW-AM. Nau takes on his new assignment effective March 3.

Federal Communications Commission Chairman Tom Wheeler will provide the "FCC Keynote" at the 2014 NAB Show in Las Vegas. The address, which will be held Tuesday, April 8, 9-10 a.m., is expected to provide insight into the Chairman's views on broadcasting and what his expectations are on the regulatory front in the coming years.
