L&L Broadcasting Names Bill McElveen EVP-Southern Region

L&L Broadcasting of Portland, OR announces Bill McElveen as EVP of the Southern Region. In that capacity, McElveen will oversee markets including: Biloxi/Gulfport, Mississippi; Bluefield, West Virginia; Columbia, South Carolina; Jackson, Mississippi; and Savannah, Georgia/Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

McElveen joined L&L Broadcasting in September 2013 as Interim Market Manager of the company’s Columbia, SC station group. Prior to that he was a Regional President for Citadel Broadcasting; EVP of Bloomington Broadcasting; and President & CEO of Audubon Broadcasting Company.

McElveen served as Chairman of the Radio Board of the National Association of Broadcasters from 1998-2000. He currently serves on the NAB Board as Director of District 6 (NC-SC) and as a Trustee of NAB's Political Action Committee, NABPAC, to which he was recently elected co-chair.
