Sujit Kundu is named SVP/Rhythm Crossover Promotion at Epic Records. Kundu has made quite a name for himself as Founder/CEO of S.K.A.M. Artist Management Company. He also served time as SVP/Rhythm Crossover Promotion at Universal Motown.

Veteran radio programmer Sean Demery, formerly PD at KITS/San Francisco, has been named PD of non-comm Triple A WYMS/Milwaukee. Demery previously worked in Triple A as morning host of then-Triple A KMTT/Seattle. He will join the station this coming Monday, March 3.

Cumulus names four key NASH talent and programming appointments for the popular syndicated radio programs Kickin’ It with Kix and American Country Countdown, hosted by Country music personality Kix Brooks. The new appointments are: Suzanne Alexander, Co-Host of Kickin’ It with Kix, Lonnie Napier, Executive Producer of Kickin’ It with Kix and American Country Countdown, Holly Ennen, Head Writer of Kickin’ It with Kix and American Country Countdown, Nikita Palmer, NASH Network Producer.

David B. Amy, EVP/CFO at Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., is promtoted to EVP/COO, while the company taps Christopher Ripley as CFO. Ripley is the founder and Managing Partner at the investment banking firm Canor LLC. Both appoints are effective April 2.

J. Pat Miller, Director/Marketing & Promotion for Journal News/Talk WTMJ-AM and Adult Hits WLWK/Milwaukee, is elevated to Director of Marketing & Innovation for the stations.

More than $200,000 was raised at the Broadcasters Foundation of America 2014 Golden Mike Award Dinner, honoring Del Bryant, President of Broadcast Music, Inc.(BMI). The Golden Mike Award was presented to Bryant at a black-tie fundraiser to benefit the Foundation’s mission of helping broadcasters in need. More than 200 television, radio, and music industry executives and celebrities were in attendance on Monday evening at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.

The New York Mets and Clear Channel Media and Entertainment today announced an agreement with ESPN Deportes Nueva York 1050 AM to continue broadcasting Mets games in Spanish through the 2016 season.
