CHR WNVZ ( Z104)/Norfolk  is now & will remain Pharrell 104 for 24 hours. Pharrell is a Hampton Roads native and worked with two of the summer’s biggest hits, Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.” PD Mike Klein commented, “Pharrell is a great artist & we love honoring him by giving him our station.” To honor his talent Z104 will be giving away his album all day and playing his new album commercial free at 10 p.m.

APD Bill Baker rises to the PD post at CHR/Rhythmic WOCQ/Salisbury-Ocean City replacing the exiting Dee-Lite. Additionally, afternoon host Chubb Love picks up APD duties.

Mark Feather exits the PD post at CHR/Rhythmic KWYD, Adult Hits KSRV and Hot AC KZMG/Boise. Feather also handled afternoons on KWYD.

Classic Rock WZXL/Atlantic City morning hosts Joe Ciappana and Scott Friedman will exit the station on March 7 and will be replaced by crosstown WMGM morning hosts Joseph “JoJo” Borsello and Scotty Reilly, reports the Press Of Atlantic City.

Cumulus flips Classic Hits WOMG/Columbia to Country as NASH FM 98.5.

Nielsen Holdings N.V. EVP/External Affairs Karen Kornbluh is being nominated to the Broadcasting Board Of Governors. Kornbluh, whose term will expire August 13, 2016, will occupy the seat vacated by Michael P. Meehan.
