Springsteen, The Killers Get March Madness

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Killers, Tim McGraw, and Jason Aldean have been tapped as headliners for the March Madness Music Festival, the free three-day music fest that will be held from April 4-6 in Dallas. The event takes place in conjunction with the 2014 NCAA Men's Final Four tournament. The music festival will kick off Friday, April 4 with Jason Aldean at the AT&T Block Party; followed by Tim McGraw and The Killers performing at the Coke Zero Countdown Concert on Saturday, April 5. Closing on Sunday, April 6 are Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band along with fun. at the Capital One JamFest.

All concerts will take place in Dallas' Reunion Park, and additional performances for each day's lineup will be announced soon. The tickets are free but are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. The concert will be Springsteen's first U.S. appearance following a recent tour of South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. It also comes just before his U.S. leg opens on April 8 in Cincinnati. In other recent Springsteen news, The Boss will honor Record Store Day on April 19 with the release of a four-song EP entitled American Beauty. Three of the tracks – "American Beauty," "Mary Mary," and "Hey Blue Eyes" – are from the same sessions as Springsteen's latest LP, High Hopes. The fourth track is called "Hurry Up Sundown."
