Metallica
Metallica will be will of the headliners at hard rock fest Heavy Montreal, taking place at Montreal's Parc Jean-Drapeau on August 9 and 10. The tour stop will serve as one of Metallica's "By Request" shows, in which fans vote for the setlist. Individuals who buy tickets via Metallica's fan club will receive a code and a link to a site where they may cast a ballot for their favorite songs. Meanwhile, other acts at the festival will include Slayer, Lamb of God, Anthrax, Offspring, Three Days Grace, Apocalyptica, Hatebreed, Pennywise and many more. All festival info can be found at www.heavymontreal.com.

50 Cent will headline a SXSW show in Austin on March 11 that will be live-streamed using the Hang With mobile app in which he is an investor. The social app allows fans to "hang out" with their favorite artists using livestream technology to take them behind-the-scenes of the stars' lives. "I'm broadcasting #LIVE on #HangWith for #iPhone! Come Hang w/50Cent," the rapper announced on Twitter. The show will take place on the final night of the interactive portion of SXSW, just before the kick-off of the music portion.

Jack White, Beck and Outkast will be the main headliners of the Forecastle festival, held July 18-20 in Louisville's Waterfront Park. The three-day festival, celebrating its 12th year in 2014, will also feature the newly-reformed Replacements, Spoon, Band of Horses, Gary Clark Jr., Twenty One Pilots, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Ray Lamontagne, Local Natives and dozens more.

Several young Pop singers will appear on the new season of Dancing with the Stars when it premieres on March 17. Cody Simpson and Big Time Rush singer James Maslow will compete against The Wonder Years star Danica McKellar, Full House's Candace Cameron Bure, comedian Drew Carey, actor Billy Dee Williams and more.

Monster Energy's Aftershock Festival will return to Sacramento, CA on September 13 and 14. Look for the 2014 band lineup and venue to be announced in the coming months.
