Daft Punk's Random Access Memories
In the latest tally of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)'s Gold and Platinum albums, both Daft Punk and Lorde were awarded their first ever platinum plaques for Random Access Memories and Pure Heroine, respectively. Additionally, "Royals" brought Lorde a 6x multi-Platinum Digital Single Award denoting more than six million sold, counting downloads and streams. Katy Perry's "Roar" also reached the 6x multi-Platinum plateau.
