The Black Keys
The Black Keys will release a new single on Monday, titled "Fever." It will be the first taste of the Rock duo's long-awaited follow-up to their hit 2011 album El Camino. Revolt reports that details of the Keys' new album will be unveiled on Monday as well.
Rush is planning to celebrate their 41st anniversary in 2015, as guitarist Alex Lifeson tells Rolling Stone, "The three of us just had a meeting. We said, 'Let's not talk about anything band-wise for the next year. Let's separate ourselves and come back rejuvenated.' Unfortunately, the other people at that meeting didn't hear what we were talking about, so there are already plans being made for spring of 2015. It's going to be a 41st anniversary tour, or whatever they're going to call it." Lifeson added, "We haven't really talked seriously about what we want to do. "But I think we're probably going to lean towards making it a real sort of fan event, and really try to put something together that's very pleasing for the fans across the board. That's always been difficult, for us to sort of balance things."
New photos from the scene of Kurt Cobain's death have been released, almost twenty years after his passing. The previously-unseen photos came from four rolls of film that had been undeveloped. A Seattle detective opted to review the case this week, and in a statement on the Seattle Police Department website, said the pictures were released in part because "Sometimes people believe what they read — some of the disinformation from some of the books, that this was a conspiracy. That's completely inaccurate. It's a suicide. This is a closed case."
Kate Bush has announced her first live concerts in over three decades, as the influential British singer will play a residency at the Hammersmith Apollo in London later this year. Bush will perform 15 concerts in August and September. The reclusive artist has not toured since 1979, and last released an album in 2011.
