March 26, 2014

Michael Keck is named Vice President/Director of Sales at CBS Radio Minneapolis. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing sales in the market, which consists of heritage News radio station WCCO-AM (830), Adult Hits KZJK-FM (104.1 Jack FM) and Country KMNB-FM (BUZ'N@102.9). Keck will work closely with Michael Weiss, CBS Radio’s President of Sales and report to Mick Anselmo, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, CBS Radio Minneapolis. His first day will be Monday, April 7.

Keck comes to the Twin Cities from Entercom Communications Milwaukee where he was Vice President/Market Manager. Keck started his career at WSPY/Plano, IL. His first sales role was with WLS-AM/Chicago. He went on to various Sales Manager and General Manager positions in a number of Midwest markets. Michael is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and a native of Dixon, IL.

“I am thrilled to be coming back to the Twin Cities. It’s a tremendous privilege to be associated with two powerful FM stations and one of America’s most legendary and successful AM brands in WCCO. I can’t wait to be a part of the CBS Radio team in this vibrant radio and media marketplace,” said Keck.

“Michael is a seasoned broadcast executive with a strong tie to Minnesota and he knows and understands our role in the community. We look forward to his many contributions leading our sales organization,” said Anselmo.
