Beyoncé

Beyoncé and producer Boots, a.k.a. Jordy Asher, surprised fans at the end of 2013 when they suddenly released her latest album, Beyoncé, featuring numerous tracks written and produced by Boots. Now, the beat-maker is surprising listeners again with his brand new mixtape. The last track of his Winter Spring Summer Fall mixtape is a duet with Beyoncé titled "Dreams." "So this is the last song on my mixtape. My friend and I recorded it recently and while we were trying to figure out what to do with it, we had an idea," Boots wrote on Facebook. He then explained that every cent made from the song will go to the non-profit organization Day One, which is devoted to the issue of teen dating violence. "I feel that protecting women from these horrible and unthinkable acts should take precedence in our society," Boots wrote. "I feel passionate about this because if more women knew that safe places existed from the turmoil they experience, it could possibly prevent these situations from occurring or reoccurring."

Coldplay will have their own NBC special next month. The hour-long show, Coldplay: Ghost Stories, will air Sunday, May 18 at 7 p.m. It features live footage of the band show in Los Angeles last month, showcasing new tunes and classics from the British group. Their new album, Ghost Stories, is due out May 19. The special will air in Canada and overseas as well.

This summer, Wiz Khalifa is bringing back his Under the Influence of Music Tour, and this edition will feature Young Jeezy, Tyga, Ty Dolla $ign, and Rich Homie Quan, as well as young acts including Sage The Gemini, Mack Wilds, IAMSU!, and DJ Drama. The 22 dates span from July 24 in Scranton, PA to August 24 in Irvine, CA. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 25 at 4:20 p.m. EST.

Saturday Night Live has announced its musical guests for the last two episodes of the season. The Black Keys will perform on May 10, with Charlize Theron hosting. The season finale will feature St. Vincent as the musical guest, with SNL alum Andy Samberg hosting.

In honor of Earth Day on Tuesday, Jack Johnson released the From Here To Now To You Live EP on his own Brushfire Records. The six-song EP was recorded live in the fall of 2013 during Johnson's From Here To Now To You theatre tour. Net proceeds from the sale of the EP will be donated to Johnson's Kokua Hawaii Foundation, supporting environmental education in the schools and communities of Hawaii.

The National, Lorde, Nas with The Roots, The Replacements, and Neutral Milk Hotel will all perform at the September edition of the Boston Calling Music Festival, which will take place from September 5-7. As with the festival's first three editions — May and September 2013, and this upcoming May 23-25 — September's lineup was co-curated by The National songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Aaron Dessner. Other performers this fall will include Childish Gambino, Spoon, Girl Talk, The 1975, Twenty One Pilots, The War on Drugs, The Hold Steady, and Sky Ferreira.
