The National Association of Broadcasters will accept nominations from NAB member radio stations between May 1 - 31 for the 25th NAB Marconi Radio Awards, which recognize overall excellence in radio broadcasting. Winners will be announced during the NAB Marconi Radio Awards 25th Anniversary Dinner & Show, held September 11 at the Radio Show in Indianapolis. New to the awards is a category for noncommercial radio stations. Noncommercial stations may choose to compete in one category: "Station of the Year by Market Size," "Station of the Year by Format," or "Noncommercial Station of the Year." Nominations must be submitted online by May 31. Finalists will be announced in July.

Longtime industry vet Michael Lessner announces he is leaving Live Nation after 17 years to begin a role as a music industry consultant, and that the Sands Casino in Bethelhem will be his first and primary client. "This is an exciting opportunity to begin my next chapter with one of PAís best and fastest rising Casino entertainment properties, says Lessner. "The last 17 years have been full of so many great and fulfilling times with countless artists, radio stations, record labels, managers, agents, and mostly everyone at Live Nation Philadelphia. Iím thrilled that I will continue to work with you on marketing the great shows brought to the Sands."

Concord Music Group taps Jeremy Gruber, formerly Concord Music Groupís Director of Online Development, has been promoted to VP of Digital Marketing and Strategy and will lead the companyís restructured digital department. Gruber will be responsible for all aspects of Concord Music Groupís digital fan engagement including frontline and catalog release strategy, website development, social media and direct to fan marketing. In addition, Dave Henson, formerly Concord Music Groupís Director of Online Marketing has been promoted to Sr. Director of Digital Marketing and Strategy, reporting to Gruber.

Morning host Dusty Bee is appointed PD at Hot AC KLLP (Star 98)/Idaho Falls.

WDRQ (NASH FM 93-1)/Detroit welcomes Lauren Crocker for middays. Crocker segues from her current position as MD/middyays at Hot AC WWZY/Monmouth-Ocean NJ.

Vevo is now live in Mexico. Starting today, Vevo viewers in Mexico can watch over 100,000 HD, official music videos, original music programming and live concert events across Vevoís web, mobile/tablet and TV apps, whenever and wherever they want. Viewers in Mexico will also now be able to tune in to Vevo TV, the always-on broadcast-style linear music channel built by expert programmers and available exclusively on our apps. Vevo continues to be available in Mexico via YouTube partnership.
