Cumulus Media appoints radio veteran Mark Elliott OM of Toledo stations Classic Rock WRQN and CHR WWWM and PD of WRQN. Elliott moves to Toledo from Evansville, IN where he was PD and afternoon host of AC WIKY for the past seven years.

At Rhythmic KMEL/San Francisco, MD/afternooner Big Von Johnson rises to APD, while night host Shay Diddy picks up MD duties.

Longtime morning host Dave Scott exits Triple A KINK/Portland. Mornings will be handled by sidekick Sheila, night talent Jared and morning show producer Shelly B.

Spirit Music Group Chairman David Renzer announces the launch of a West Coast office and has added personnel at the independent music publisher. Ty McKery will head the newly founded Urban Division and Teddy Blum joins in the areas of licensing and acquisitions. The offices are located at 8730 Sunset Boulevard, Penthouse W, Los Angeles, CA.

Clear Channel Communities, the community engagement brand of CCM+E, News WGY (810 & 103-1) and Hot AC WRVE (99.5 The River)/Albany announce that the 16th Annual Cares for Kids Radiothon raised more than $648,000 for the Childrenís Hospital at Albany Medical Center. The 30-hour live broadcast took place May 1-2, 2014 and encouraged the local Albany community to support Albany Medical Centerís pediatric health care programs by donating.
