The Black Keys Announce North American Arena Tour

The Black Keys
The Black Keys have announced an extensive fall tour of North American arenas, in support of their new album Turn Blue, due out next week. The trek kicks off in Columbus, OH on September 5 and winds up in Kansas City on December 21. Cage The Elephant, Jake Bugg and St. Vincent will each open selected dates on the tour.

Turn Blue is currently streaming on iTunes and the Rock duo will play Saturday Night Live this weekend, marking their third appearance on the show. Drummer Patrick Carney says of the new record, "We are always trying to push ourselves when we make a record—not repeat our previous work but not abandon it either. On this record, we let the songs breathe and explored moods, textures and sounds. We're excited for the world to hear Turn Blue."

The Black Keys play the Hangout Music Fest in Gulf Shores, AL next week and will tour Europe throughout the summer.
