Cumulus Media announces that it has named radio executive Andy Stuart as Regional Vice President and Market Manager for its seven-station cluster in Toledo. Stuart comes to Cumulus from Clear Channel, where he served as RVP/Market Manager of Clear Channel’s Toledo stations for over 24 years. During that time, he led the consolidation of six radio stations into one operating group, through which record audience and revenue levels were achieved. As Regional Vice President, his area of responsibility grew to include Clear Channel’s radio assets in Northern Ohio markets including Toledo, Akron, Canton, Youngstown, Lima, Defiance, Napoleon, Ashland, Mansfield and Findlay.

Gary Pizzati, Senior Vice President of Cumulus Media, said: “ We are thrilled to have Andy take the helm at Cumulus in Toledo. Andy has years of deep-rooted ties to the Toledo market and long-term relationships with the entire advertising community. His experience in the market will be an invaluable asset to our stations and operations there.”

Pizzati continued: “Thanks to John Gallagher, who gets a battlefield promotion to Regional Vice President in Green Bay and Appleton/Oshkosh from the VP/Market Manager chair in Toledo, and also to RVP Dave Crowl, who was instrumental in recruiting Andy over to Cumulus.”

Stuart said: “I am very excited to be joining the outstanding team at Cumulus Media and look forward to achieving great things.”
