Ed Sheeran is gearing up for a busy summer as he announces a wealth of activity surrounding the release of his second album, x (pronounced “multiply"), which arrives on June 23. Sheeran will celebrate x with a string of TV appearances, including a special live performance on next week's season finale of The Voice on May 20. Sheeran also is slated to perform on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on May 16, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on June 10, and NBC's Today Toyota Concert Series broadcast live from New York City's Rockefeller Center on July 4.

Furthermore, MTV has set the debut of 9 Days and Nights of Ed Sheeran, a 60-minute documentary that takes fans behind-the-scenes as he embarks on the next chapter of his career. The MTV special premieres on Tuesday, June 10 at 11 p.m. ET/PT. Meanwhile, Sheeran recently announced plans for his first-ever North American headlining arena tour, kicking off in Seattle on August 21 and then traveling through September 18 in Toronto.
