Ed Sheeran To Perform At Ellis Island
May 16, 2014

3x Grammy nominated artist Ed Sheeran will play a one-of-a-kind show on Ellis Island National Monument, presented by CBS Radio, on Friday, June 13. Sheeran has been staging “Multiply Days” – consisting of a number of ever-growing, intimate performances in a single day - around the globe in anticipation of his new album, x (pronounced ‘multiply’). “Ed On Ellis” will be the largest in a series of shows during the U.S. installment of “Multiply Day” in New York City and serve as the conclusion to this thrilling extravaganza celebrating and demonstrating the literal concept guiding his new record.

Fans attending “Ed On Ellis” will be treated to sweeping views of the New York skyline and Lady Liberty while listening to Sheeran play a variety of hits new and old, 10 days before the release of his new album x, which arrives on Tuesday, June 23 and is preceded by chart-topping lead single “Sing.”

The only way to see Sheeran play live in this memorable and historic setting is to win tickets from one of dozens of CBS Radio stations nationwide or by visiting www.radio.com.  Sheeran announced his Ellis Island gig and tips for visiting the Big Apple Friday morning (5/16) on Fresh 102.7 (WWFS) in New York..

Sheeran officially kicks off his North American arena tour August 22 in Seattle.
