Taylor Swift, One Direction, Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé have all been nominated for the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. The awards will be handed out August 10 on Fox. Swift is up for three different awards, One Direction, Timberlake and Beyoncé are all up for two, while One Direction member Harry Styles is nominated on his own. ArianaGrande also received two nods.
The openers for Outkast's homecoming concert in Atlanta have been announced, as KidCudi, Childish Gambino and Raury will all be a part of the #ATLast show. The concert is set for Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park on Saturday, September 27. Tickets went on sale today.
The lineup for the 2014 Rockstar EnergyDrink Uproar Festival has been revealed. While not all bands will play every city, the traveling festival is topped by Godsmack, Seether, Skillet, Buckcherry, Pop Evil and Escape TheFate. The tour kicks off in Clarkston, MI on August 15, with dates announced into late September.
The lineup for the 2014 Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco has been revealed. The two-day festival is set for October 18-19 and will be headlined by Outkast and Massive Attack, with TV On The Radio, Janelle Monae, TheNew Pornographers and Alt-J on the bill as well.
KoRn will re-issue their most recent album The Paradigm Shift in an expanded edition this summer. Billboard reports the new single "Hater" will arrive at radio tomorrow and be available for sale digitally next week. Frontman JonathanDavis says the expended version of the album will include a few tracks that didn't make the record, live tunes and more.
Melissa Etheridge’s next studio album This Is ME is set for release on September 30 and will be the debut album for ME Records. Primary Wave Music will be marketing the album and it will be distributed by Caroline Distribution. "I am excited to be putting out an album that is exactly what I want it to be. I had some amazing collaborators who really helped craft songs and an album that is truly representative of where I am in my life at this moment," Etheridge says.
