Kanye West, Foo Fighters Head To Vegas
June 23, 2014

Kanye West, Foo Fighters and Outkast are the headliners for the second annual Life Is Beautiful festival, taking place in downtown Las Vegas from October 24 through 26. The diverse celebration of art, food and music also will feature artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Skrillex, Lionel Richie, The Flaming Lips, The Roots, Girl Talk, Alt-J, Broken Bells, Fitz & The Tantrums, The Head and The Heart, Panic! At The Disco, Matt & Kim, Neon Trees, Jenny Lewis, G-Eazy, OK GO and dozens more. A total of nearly 60 acts will take the stage during the three-day event. Tickets go on sale Thursday, June 26 at 10 a.m. PST at www.lifeisbeautiful.com.

In related news, it was revealed last week that Foo Fighters and Outkast are also headliners at this year's Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans. That festival takes place from October 31 to November 2.

Foo Fighters also headlined Delaware's Firefly Music Festival on Friday, June 20, playing a two-hour-plus set. The band did not debut any new songs, instead opting for a "greatest hits" set that featured "Rope," "Learn to Fly," "This Is A Call," "The Pretender," "Everlong," "Big Me" and "Monkey Wrench." The Foos also played an encore as a cover band called The Holy Shits, offering up versions of "School's Out" by Alice Cooper, "Miss You" by the Rolling Stones, "Ain't Talkin' Bout Love" by Van Halen and "Under Pressure" by Queen & David Bowie.
