CCM+E Savannah Names Reid Spivey Program Director At WAEV

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Savannah announced today that Reid Spivey has been named Program Director/On-Air Personality for Mainstream CHR WAEV (97.3 KISS-FM), effective July 14.
Spivey will oversee all programming operations for 97.3 KISS-FM, Savannah's Hit Music Station. He will also host weeknights from 7-10:00 p.m. He arrives via CC Mainstream sister CHR WHQC (Channel 96.1)/Charlotte, where he most recently served as Assistant Program Director and On-Air Personality.
"It’s really been a thrill to work with Reid and watch him grow into his role of Assistant Program Directorand on-air personality at Channel 96.1, preparing him for this next great adventure and his first role as Program Director," said Boomer, Program Director, WHQC. "I couldn’t be more proud of what he’s accomplished during his nearly three years in Charlotte. Knowing his tireless work ethic and dedication to detail, I’m selfishly saddened to see him leave but completely jazzed that he’s joining another great Clear Channel team in Savannah where he will continue to shine and elevate the radio game.
