Lil Wayne To Drop "Other Album" After Carter V
July 1, 2014

On Sunday night at the BET Awards, Lil Wayne gave energetic performances of two new songs from Tha Carter V: "Believe Me" featuring Drake and "Krazy." However, Weezy still seems unsure when the album will finally be in stores. On the set of the "Krazy" video shoot in Los Angeles this morning, MTV News asked Wayne when the album is finally dropping.

"I'm so not good with that," Wayne replied. "I think it drops either in September and then we have… I can't tell you the sneak thing. Anyway, yeah, I think it drops in September or August." When it was noted that Weezy's tour with Drake starts on August 8, the rapper was even more unsure about the release date. "It might drop before then, in July. [Or] August 25 or something like that," Wayne questioned.

The only things he could officially confirm are that he has completed recording Tha Carter V, and that he will
be dropping another project called Da Other Album two months after Tha Carter V hits stores. "If Tha Carter was to drop in August, [DOA] would be October," Weezy stated.

Meanwhile, the Drake vs. Lil Wayne co-headlining tour kicks off on August 8 at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Darien Center, NY. The trek will make stops in 31 cities before wrapping on September 27 in Woodlands, TX.
