Metallica has filmed a spot for ESPN's SportsCenter that will air during Monday night's MLB Home Run Derby. The clip implies that since Yankees relief pitcher Mariano Rivera retired at the end of last season (taking his "Enter Sandman" entrance music with him), Metallica is looking for other forays into sports music. Check out the commercial below:

Radiohead will begin rehearsing and recording its ninth album in the fall, according to guitarist Jonny Greenwood. "We're going to start up in September, playing, rehearsing and recording and see how it's sounding," Greenwood said in an interview with BBC 6Music. In related news, Radiohead drummer Phil Selway plans to release his second solo album in October.

Halestorm has announced a run of headline dates kicking off on November 11 in Chattanooga, TN. These dates will be the only headline shows for the band in 2014, since they will be playing already-announced dates supporting Country star Eric Church.

Kiss will play a nine-show Las Vegas residency this fall. The show, called Kiss Rocks Vegas, will bring the group to The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino beginning on November 5. "Whatever you're used to with Kiss, this will pump it up that much more," says frontman Paul Stanley. "If Kiss is on steroids, this is a double dose."

Interpol has expanded their tour behind forthcoming album El Pintor, adding a leg of North American dates in October and November. The band also will play Chicago's Lollapalooza, Los Angeles' FYF Fest, and Austin City Limits. El Pintor arrives on September 9 via Matador Records.
