Rob Morris
Rob Morris has been named Vice President, Programming, for the CBS Radio Tampa Bay cluster that includes; WHFS-FM/AM, WLLD-FM, WQYK-FM, WRBQ-FM, WYUU-FM; it was announced today by Steve Carver, Senior Vice President/Market Manager, CBS Radio Tampa Bay.  Morris comes to the market from CBS Radio Minneapolis where he has been serving as Operations Manager/Program Director for KMNB-FM and KZIK-FM since 2012. During this time Morris has overseen audience share increases of 85% and 31% for JACK FM and BUZ’N 102.9 respectively in key demographics.

“Rob is passionate about radio, competitive, a terrific strategic thinker and possesses outstanding leadership skills.  He is the perfect choice to take CBS Radio Tampa Bay to the next level,” said Carver. In his role, Morris will oversee programming for the market and he will have direct programming responsibilities for 99.5 WQYK and Q105 (WRBQ-FM).

Prior to working for CBS Radio Morris spent 17 years as Music Director, Assistant Program Director, Program Director and later Operations Manager for Clear Channel Radio, Minneapolis where station, 101.3 KDWB won three Marconi Awards.  In 2009 Morris received the "Most Influential Program Director Award" from FMQB.  Morris is a graduate of Ohio State University.

Morris’ first day as VP Programming for CBS Radio Tampa Bay will be Monday, August 4, 2014.
