Nicki Minaj
The release of Nicki Minaj's upcoming single, "Anaconda," will be delayed by a week. Rather than dropping today, the track will be unleashed on August 4. Minaj announced via her Instagram page that "I've pushed the release of Anaconda to next week, Monday 8/4. I promise you will understand why before the week is out." This will be the second single lifted from Minaj's upcoming album, The Pink Print, following the song "Pills N Potions."

Seattle alt-pop band Fences will release a new single on Tuesday, July 29 called "Arrows" featuring Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Fences main man Christopher Mansfield has worked with Macklemore before, when Mansfield co-wrote a song on the 2012 album The Heist ("10,000 Hours"), and was featured on 2011's "Otherside Remix," which he also co-wrote. "Fences is a good friend," Macklemore told Billboard. "He's f***ed up in the same way that I'm f***ed up. Because of that, our lives relate beyond the music. I've always admired his talent for illustrating with words and evoking imagery. We've made a bunch of stuff together over the years and this song about Arrows is my favorite one we've done." A full length album from Fences is due in October via Elektra Records.

If Courtney Love's intel is correct, then a biopic about Kurt Cobain should go into production within the next year. Love states in a new interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer that she is overseeing the film's creation alongside her daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, and Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic. The role of Cobain has yet to be cast, but there are a number of candidates that Love describes as "25-year-olds who are blond, gorgeous and the new Brad Pitts… Some are really good actors, not just pretty faces."

Paul McCartney is set to reissue two Wings albums this fall: 1975's Venus and Mars, and 1976's Wings at the Speed of Sound. Both albums will be available on September 23 as a two-disc set, with one containing the original album and a second with demos and unreleased tracks. Both albums also will be available as a three-disc edition including a DVD containing footage from the time of each release.

Bleachers' debut hit single "I Wanna Get Better" has hit #1 at Alt radio after only 20 weeks on the chart. Since its launch in February, "I Wanna Get Better" has sold over 200,000 singles and streamed over 4 million times. The album, released on RCA Records, was written and produced by fun.'s Jack Antonoff alongside co-producer John Hill. Last week Bleachers kicked off the Strange Desire World Tour and they will continue to tour throughout the fall. Dates are announced through November 16 in Minneapolis.
