CCM+E Classic Hits KLTH/Portland, OR rebrands as "106-7 The Eagle," playing Classic Hits from the '60s, '70s and '80s. The station's airstaff remains in place. "Introducing The Eagle to Portland is about the continuing evolution of the station. As our listeners tastes have changed so has the station that plays the music they love," said Mark Adams, VP of Programming. CCM+E-Portland. "The Eagle takes flight this weekend commercial free and will continue to be the Pacific Northwest’s Classic Hits Station."

Michael "Hurricane Shane" Schoenherr is named PD at Active Rock WVRX/Knoxville replacing Shane Cox. Cox will continue to handle PD duties at AC sister WJXB. Most recently Schoenherr was at Triple A WZEW/Mobile where served as PD and morning host.

Chase Daniels will be exiting the APD/afternoon post at CHR WNKI/Elmira, as well as the midday shift on Country sister WPGI on 8/8 to join Saga Communications/Cayuga Radio Group where he will do afternoon drive at Country WQNY/Ithaca and take on Imaging Director responsibilities for the cluster. Daniels starts his new gig on 8/11.

Envision Networks' Full Metal Jackie Radio welcomes WKHY-FM/Lafayette, IN as its newest affiliate. WKHY will air Full Metal Jackie every Sunday night at 10 p.m.
