After more than a year of delays, Chris Brown says that his sixth album, X, will finally come out on September 16. He posted a picture on Instagram that revealed the new date. Brown has been dropping singles from X since 2013, including "Loyal" featuring Lil Wayne, and "New Flame" featuring Usher and Rick Ross.
Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande and Soundgarden will kick off the NFL season in Seattle. Pharrell will perform outside of CenturyLink Field in Seattle on September 4 before the Seattle Seahawks play the Green Bay Packers to start the football season. Grande will sing the national anthem, and Soundgarden will kick off the free event with a performance, part of which will air on the NFL Network.
Jon Bon Jovi has published a letter in the Buffalo News explaining his intent to buy the Buffalo Bills NFL franchise. The rocker writes that he and his ownership group plan to "make the Bills successful in Buffalo. We are committed to working with the State, City, County and business community to identify the best possible site in the Buffalo area for a new stadium and to then develop and implement a plan to finance and build a state-of-the-art NFL stadium for the loyal Bills fans." He added, "My family and I are prepared to make this life-changing commitment to be part of the Bills. This is not a hobby or an acquisition. Building a winner on and off the field will be job one and I intend to spend as much time on the ground in Buffalo as needed to accomplish that goal."
