Mika El-Baz
Mika El-Baz has been named Executive Vice President, West Coast / Executive Vice President, Publicity, RCA Records it was announced today. In her expanded role, El-Baz will be heading up the RCA Records west coast office, as well as identifying new opportunities for the label and its superstar artist roster. In addition, she will continue her role as Executive Vice President, Publicity, RCA Records where she will continue overseeing, designing and implementing specially-crafted media campaigns and artist development strategies for A-List, breakthrough and developing artists. El-Baz will continue to report to Tom Corson, President and COO, RCA Records and be relocated to the company’s Los Angeles offices.

El-Baz joined RCA Records (formerly J Records) in 2004 as Senior Vice President, Publicity and quickly rose to Executive Vice President, Publicity for the label in 2010.  During her time here, El-Baz has been responsible for managing the label’s corporate communications and strategies as well as securing national media campaigns for the artist roster which includes superstar acts such as Justin Timberlake, P!nk, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Foo Fighters, Kelly Clarkson, Usher, Kings Of Leon, Pitbull, Chris Brown, Shakira, R. Kelly, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson, Buddy Guy; critically acclaimed and chart topping artists including Miguel, Ray LaMontagne, A$AP Rocky, Anthony Hamilton, Sia, Marsha Ambrosius and Cage The Elephant; and breakthrough acts MAGIC!, Bleachers, , Betty Who, Brooke Candy, Kid Ink, Tinashe, Becky G, and many more.

Prior to RCA, El-Baz was co-head of the Interscope Geffen A&M press department where she co-managed the publicity department and media campaigns for their diverse roster. Previous to her tenure there, she was Senior National Director, Publicity for Island Records. El-Baz, a two time Billboard Women In Music recipient, is an alumna of Smith College and passionate member of the Leadership Council for the Young Women's Leadership Network.
