Triple A KPRI/San Diego appoints Marc “Mookie” Kaczor as MD & Show Host. “Mookie” is well-known to San Diegans from his on air work at San Diego stations Sophie 103.7, 91X, and 94/9 KBZT. He joins KPRI from KXRN Radio/Laguna Beach where he has been MD and afternoon show host since 2012.

Cumulus promotes 30-year radio veteran Elizabeth Pembleton to VP/Market Manager of Cumulus Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton. Pembleton has been Director of Sales for WCTO-FM and WLEV-FM/Allentown since 2011. Prior to that, she was Director of Sales/GSM for Citadel Broadcasting in Bethlehem, PA. She was also Sr. Account Executive for Clear Channel Radio’s four Allentown stations for 10 years.

NRG Media LLC names thirty-five broadcast vet Ron Johnson GM for WCMY-AM and WRKX-FM/Ottawa, IL.

Theola Borden and Sarah Weinstein Dennison have been promoted to SVP, Publicity, RCA Records. Additionally Jamie Abzug has been promoted to VP, Publicity, RCA Records. All three will continue reporting to Mika El-Baz, EVP, West Coast / EVP Publicity, RCA Records. Borden and Weinstein Dennison will remain in the company’s New York headquarters while Abzug will remain in the company’s west coast office.

Westwood One announces that Jim Jones has been named Sr. Director, News Affiliate Sales. In his new position, Jones will be overseeing affiliate sales for Westwood One’s News vertical. This is a homecoming for Jones, as he was formerly VP of Affiliate Sales, News/Talk for Westwood One in Washington, DC, for 15 years. He was most recently with Focus 360
