Hubbard Radio President/COO Drew Horowitz today announced that John Gallagher was named VP/Market Manager for Hubbard Radio-Chicago. Hubbard Radio operates four radio stations in Chicago: WTMX (101.9 The Mix), WDRV 97.1 FM/WWDV 96.9 FM (The Drive) and WILV (Chicago’s 100.3). Chicago is the largest market in the Hubbard Radio portfolio.

“John is the perfect person to lead our great brands in Chicago,” said Horowitz. “John has a proven track record as an operator and has the benefit of Chicago experience which gives him insight into the market. I’m thrilled to have someone of John’s caliber and experience segueing into this very critical position for Hubbard Radio-Chicago.”

Gallagher comes to Hubbard from Cumulus Media where he was a Regional Vice President for Wisconsin and had managed markets in Ohio and Kansas. Prior to joining Cumulus John was a General Manager for Greater Media Detroit and ABC Radio in Chicago. Gallagher is a graduate of Villanova University.

“I look forward to working with Drew Horowitz and the impressive group of professionals at Hubbard Radio-Chicago,” said Gallagher. “I enjoyed my experience at Cumulus Media, but this is one of the top management positions with some of the best talent in the country.”
