Clear Channel Media and Entertainment San Antonio announced today the debut of Hot 104.5, Today's Rhythm and All the Best Throwbacks, effective immediately. Hot 104.5 will kick off with 10,000 songs commercial free, featuring artists like Drake, Iggy Azalea, 2Pac, Aaliyah, Notorious BIG, Dr. Dre, Eminem and more. The new station's programming lineup will be announced soon. San Antonio’s Classic Rock fans can now listen to KZEP on its new frequency, 93.3.

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Seattle announced today the debut of 95.7 The Jet, Seattle’s Variety From the 70’s, 80’s and More, beginning at 10 a.m. PST.  95.7 The Jet will feature a wider variety of music, including 70’s favorites like Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and Heart, but also stretch wider and showcase more variety from 80’s artists like Madonna, Prince and Bon Jovi. The new station will give listeners a chance to win $1,000 each weekday starting Monday, August 11, when they hear The Jet $1,000 Artist of the Day. The on-air programming lineup will be announced soon.

Univision Communications Inc. announces two key appointments to its executive team. Kevin Cuddihy has been named President of Local Media and Jessica Rodriguez was appointed Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately. Cuddihy will oversee a combined 130 television and radio stations with responsibility for local sales, content, digital, operations and community relations. Rodriguez will oversee all UCI marketing functions, including the Univision Agency, a group that oversees a media inventory of more than $500 million across all of Univision’s broadcast, cable, radio and digital properties, and is responsible for all cross-channel promotions as well as research and creative services for clients and internal divisions.

Modern Rock KNRK/Portland welcomes Derric Tanner for nights. Tanner formerly handled nights at Hot AC KLCK/Seattle.

Bill Bevins and Shelly Perkins join AC WHTI/Richmond for mornings.

Kevin "K-Dub" Washington takes over middays at CHR/Rhythmic WDHT/Dayton. Washington previously served as promoted morning show producer/weekend air talent.

Adult Hits WGTZ/Dayton adds Dan Edwards to The Morning Flight, weekdays from 6-9 a.m.

WJAS-AM/Pittsburgh announced today the debut of News Talk 1320. Pittsburgh’s new destination for News/Talk will feature an all new programming line-up of America’s top talk radio personalities, including Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Dave Ramsey and others. The new format debuted at noon today with The Rush Limbaugh Show.
